Nashville investment firm Iroquois Capital Group has announced a new CEO. Starting Jan. 1, Director William McGugin will take over from CEO Michael Koban. “The future is bright,” McGugin said. “We have a talented team that I’m looking forward to working with in a new capacity.”

McGugin has already been a leader at the firm, serving as the CEO of Iroquois’ portfolio companies REIT Investment Group and Iroquois Captive Services — both are areas that the company plans to develop going forward, McGugin said.

Koban will switch positions from CEO to chairman of the board, also effective Jan. 1, at which point current Chairman John Jacques will stay on as a member of the board of directors.
